Andrew’s Bio:

Andrew Blaylock loves to help people on their journey toward Christ. He was born a 3rd generation pastor’s kid and grew up singing, playing music and speaking in church. His talent grew through lots of practice, classical piano lessons, and a love for music that reaches to the depths of his bones.

In college, Andrew studied piano performance at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) for two years, and then felt the Lord led him to transfer to Lee University in Cleveland, TN. While at Lee, he received his BA in Music Business, and met the love of his life, Amber.

After college, Andrew and Amber moved to his hometown and were married in 2010. They spent 8 years ministering at his home church before they felt the Lord leading them to make a move.

God opened the door for Andrew to become the Worship Pastor for Life Church of Houston, Texas. Over the past 5 years, he has added 40 new members to the worship team, helped launch 2 campuses in 18 months, and develop and deliver numerous Sunday sermon series.

Amber’s Bio:

Amber loves God and sharing Him with others. She grew up in South West Florida with her parents and 4 sisters. Her parents say she could sing before she could speak. She was raised singing in church and school choirs, and began classical training at age 16.

Amber continued to study music at Edison College (now called Florida SouthWestern), but sought to finish her studies at Lee University in Cleveland, TN. She continued to study music and was a part of the touring choir, Campus Choir, but ended up graduating with a BA in English Writing in 2009.

Andrew swept her off her feet and asked her to move to Amory, MS to spend time with his family and to do real life together. They were married in 2010 and were blessed with 3 children: Adele in 2014, Evie in 2016, and Charles in 2021.

Amber taught at a Christian school for 3 years, before she was blessed to join her husband in ministry at Bethel Church, where she worked as the church Secretary and Children’s Minister, while also remaining active on the worship team.

After their second child was born, Amber felt called to stay at home with her children for a season. For the past two years, she has worked part-time as the Children’s Ministry Coordinator for Life Church, which has allowed her to also homeschool her children.
